Youth team impress in the rain

Lewes U18 continued their good progress this season with a 3-1 win against Peacehaven.

The visitors took a 20th minute lead thanks to TJ Lewin but the Rooks fought back and were in the lead by half time thanks to goals from Jordan Stubbings and Kelvin Brown.

Tricky conditions in the second half were dealt with well by two determined teams although the seven bookings seemed a little harsh in the circumstances, with Lewes notching up three and Peacehaven having Christofis sent off in the closing stages.

At the end, Alfie Marshall capped a good display with a slot in for the third goal to cap a rewarding evening for Lewes.
